
R ecruiting is a difficult business to begin with. Recruiting in the emerging technology sector only adds to the challenge.
Fast-growth companies need star performers, so my team needs to be able to not only find great candidates, but also evangelize to these innovators that joining a young company is a great career move.
Talking about our clients is sometimes the easiest part of the job. The companies we work with are unique; their products are cutting edge and they are charging forward at top speed. It's hard not to want to see them win.
By building teams across the organization my recruiters and I gain an in-depth understanding of their business, which helps us convey a company's strengths to star candidates.
I enjoy coaching my recruiters through this process: teaching them to persevere and challenge themselves to be creative.
