I  was new to recruiting and was looking to join a tight-knit team. The Laudi Group offered me that..and a beautiful work environment. It was something of an atypical career choice for a human resources professional, but my instinct said it was a good fit.

I've been able to explore what makes talented people tick, and to offer them some incredible opportunities. Two positions stand out. The first, a Senior Mac Guru, required a conceptual thinker who also had cutting edge development skills. It was a needle-in-a-haystack search with thousands of haystacks! The second was for a Manager of User Experience Design. The role had tremendous visibility at Research in Motion, and needed a very specific individual in terms of both personality and skill-set.

I've learned two valuable lessons while working at the Laudi Group. The first is that in order to 'see' the market you need to connect personally with key professionals and companies. The second is that when you hit a wall and you always do - you've got to get creative with your problem solving.

That creative challenge is the best aspect of my job.
